Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Pads

My skin can be terrible at times; It will be clear for a day then I will have a crazy break out for days. I'm a little obsessed with skin care and I'm always buying things to try and help my skin behave better :)

I spotted the Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Pads as they were on offer and I had never tried anything similar so thought it would be worth a shot. Was it worth the risk? ...

Surprisingly, yes! These are possibly the best cleansing pads I have used to reduce redness and size of spots!
I use the pads every morning and night as part of my skin care routine and my spots are visibly clearer and look less sore than before use. The pads are super easy to use and they are much more convenient than facial washes aimed at spot treatment (I've even used less f my face scrub in favour for a creamier wash as these pads do such a good job of clearing my face!)

Unfortunately I do have some little complaints about these. The packaging is terrible. The pads are heavily saturated with the product which is fantastic but it means if the pot isn't kept upright it leaks everywhere. They also smell really badly of chemicals which is very off putting. Also they sting like a b*tch if it gets into your eyes. Like seriously painful.

Overall I am definitely going to repurchase these, they do have some bad points but the results for me personally are fantastic!

  1. These look great, especially if you're just wanting to pin point a certain spot, without getting your spot facial wash out. Might have to invest! Although I do agree with you on the packaging, it does seem rather awkward. Kind of reminds me the magic nail polish removers, which you stick your finger in? the nail polish remover itself leaks so much, what a pain.

    1. Yeah, the pads are handy for that. I've also found if I get a spot in an awkward place the pads can wipe over it easily and they do work really well on my skin. Just hate that it leaks! xxx

    1. Same! It really stings when I apply it but it's not too unbearable. It really does wonders for my skin too xxx
