Lush's Rose Jam bubble bar

You all know how crazy I am for bubble baths and Lush make the BEST bubble bars ever. This time I went for Rose Jam.

Bubble bars are basically solid bubble bath, similar to a bath bomb but with bubbles and not fizz. So to create the MOUNTAINS of bubbles (no exaggeration) you break a piece of the bubble bar off and crumble it into the bath under a running tap. And Voila! a lovely, fragrant bubble bath :)

 

Rose Jam is one of three 'bubbleroon's. I've no idea what a bubbleroon is, but I find these much more moisturising than the regular bubble bars. I'm not usually a rose fragrance fan but Rose Jam smells so beautiful; it's a really sweet, girly, rosy scent. Rose Jam is pretty small so I used half of the bubble bar to get my perfect amount of bubbles. Rose Jam definitely makes a lot less bubbles than Lush's usual bubble bars.

What really impressed me was how soft the bath water was; it was pure luxury! I felt so good afterwards, and the beautiful smell lingered on my skin for ages! As you can see from the pictures, the bubbles seem more 'foamy'. I only wish they made it a little bigger so I could get more baths out of it.
