Shoot for the Stars! Ballistic from Lush

If you are a fan of Honey I Washed the Kids soap at Lush, you will LOVE this bath bomb. It smells exactly like it; a warm, comforting sweet honey fragrance which is just beautiful!

I'm a bit of  a star gazing fanatic so this Christmas bath bomb appealed to me straight away.  I wasn't really sure what to expect when I bought this...

Let's go to Candy Mountain...

Another Christmas Lush goody! (What can I say, working there makes me want and need to buy EVERYTHING that hits the shelves...)

Lush have brought out the Candy Mountain bubble bar for quite a few years running now and every year it's had a little make over. Last year I seem to remember it was green and pink and went a bit of a weird colour in the bath, but this year's make over is fantastic!!

The Scunci Fringe Cut Clip

Believe it or not, I cut my own hair. Not half as scary as it sounds; in fact it's relatively easy to do and saves me loads of time and money. My main problem is getting my fringe right. Sometimes I just chop it off and it looks like a block of hair rather than a nicely shaped fringe so I was rather intrigued to try out the Scunci Fringe Cut Clip as a way to make my fringe cutting much more simple!

Lord Of Misrule Bath Bomb // LUSH Halloween

It's October which means Halloween is upon us! I love this time of year as it gives me a fantastic excuse to talk about the Lush Halloween limited edition releases, such as the Lord of Misrule bathbomb.
The inspiration behind this bath bomb is the pagan myth of the Lord of Misrule who was the ruler of the Pagan Feast of Fools (which sounds great to me!). The bath bomb itself is really cute; it's a standard ball shape but it has a crown all the way round. It is full of Fair trade vanilla absolute which does leave a sweet vanilla fragrance, and it has a kind of spicy smell to it which I assume comes from the black pepper and patchouli. I love this fragrance! It's also got popping candy in which crackles when it's in the water.

What sells this bomb to me is what it does once in the bath. The white bubbles on the photos are actually from a splash of bubble bath I'd popped in before. Lord of Misrule slowly fizzes away then erupts into the most beautiful red wine colour which is divine to bathe in. It reminded me of a witch's brew! I love the colour and it just feels so luxurious to be in as well as feeling softening on the skin. The red and green give it a real festive, warm feel.

This is a fantastic ballistic produced by Lush and I'm glad it will be staying over the festive period.

Bedroom Tour: Parents' Home edition!

Yesterday was my birthday so I decided to pop back to my parents' house for a couple of nights. I'm the youngest of my family so I have the smallest bedroom of the house, but I really love how, over the years, I've decorated it all and made it my own little space.

Elegant Touch Polished in 'Ethereal Rose' NOTD

I remember the first time I wore stick on nails when I was about 15; it was horrific. I had glue everywhere, they were the wrong sizes and they just looked ridiculous as they were so long!

Stick on nails have improved so much since then and they are now available in every colour, shape, design and length you could possibly wish for. I'm a fan of the Elegant Touch nails and their 'Polished' range particularly caught my eyes.
