My skin has always been a pain; it constantly breaks out, one day it's oily and the next it's dry. I thought it was time for a skin intervention so, alongside a bit of a change in diet and routine, I decided to update my skincare. I'd heard amazing things about Ultrabland cleanser and was curious to see if the 30 day challenge LUSH challenge their customers to could really work...
What is so intriguing about Ultrabland is that it has the most ridiculously simple ingredients; no fancy scientific things in here, just simple honey, almond oil, rose water and beeswax.
The consistency of Ultrabland is a mixture of cream and waxy. At first I hated using it as it felt gross plastered on my face but now I've realised you only need a thin layer of product smoothed over your skin which still picks up and removes any dirt or make up effectively. I find this cleanser works best if you 'hot cloth' it which means to remove it you have to use a face cloth (or cotton pads) that is soaked in hot water and it does leave your skin feeling squeaky clean! Ultrabland does a great job of removing left over make up however I find it does struggle a little with removing mascara.
What has pleased me most about this product is that it has actually worked wonders for my skin. I had awful spots all over my face before I started using it and now, after two weeks of using it twice a day, the amount of blemishes and break outs has significantly reduced! I wish I had taken a before and after photograph to show how great this product actually is. It hasn't totally eliminated all my spots (I think these will need a bit more specialist spot treatment), it has made such a huge difference and has made me much happier about my skin! Ultrabland has become a staple in my skin care routine and I now understand why so many people fall in love with this cleanser!

DeleteUltrabland is really good! I love how my skin feels supersoft after using it.
ReplyDeleteWhat also helped my skin from breaking out is Lush's Tea Tree water tonic. I use it in the morning before adding daycream and in the evening after removing make up.
