I am lucky enough to be currently working for Lush cosmetics in Solihull and, with a few subtle hints from myself, the Solihull team decided it was time to host our very first blogger event! We had an exclusive evening for bloggers to come and preview the Halloween and Christmas products before anyone else (Warning: This post is picture heavy)...
The staff did an amazing job of getting the shop ready in time - with over 35 new Christmas products we were pushed for room in our little shop but the management team had done a grand job of planning and carrying out the plan of attack on the shops Christmas layout in the short time we had to set up between shop close and the event start!
There are LOADS of amazing new products this year and, after being a Christmas temp at Lush for what will be my fourth year, I can honestly say this year has excited me the most with the Christmas and Halloween releases. Instead of boring you with an endless list of what we now sell, I'm going to tell you a few of my top picks for this year.
Hot Toddy shower gel - It's spicy and glittery, what more could you want?! I love this shower gel as it smells divine and really makes me feel comforted in the same way a roaring fire on a cold winter's evening does.
Another shower gel pick for me is So White shower gel. This has been a favourite fragrance for me in it's bath bomb form so I am delighted that I can now slather myself in appley-goodness in bath OR shower.
It is no secret that I love The Comforter bubble bar and this year Lush have Reindeer Rock soap which is fragranced with the comforter fragrance. I love the fruity blackcurrant fragrance and I'll be buying a load of this soap over the festive season!
My final choice is The Sparkler bath bomb. It has a delicate rose fragrance and is one of the most exciting bath bombs that Lush sells - guaranteed to make bath time amazing!
We had an amazing event and both staff and bloggers had the most amazing time organising and participating in it. Huge thank you to everyone involved!

Your blog is injecting so much LUSH into my life that it's making me itch for a store-- but there isn't one near my uni! A girl in one of my classes did a presentation on the use of sensory experiences at LUSH stores as a way to engage customers and the nostalgia for all my experiences in the store made me so hungry for those scents and textures!
ReplyDeleteI've been to every larger venue in the town and this has one of the best party planner. Most of the negative elements of going to a more popular place are avoided here; the staff was really mature and respectful.
