Galaxy Nails

How amazing are these galaxy style nails? They are so easy to do too - I'll let you in on my galaxy nail tutorial that is so easy a nail novice could achieve it...

My secret? These nails are by imPRESS - a press on manicure kit. Did I fool you?! They are called 'Dancing Queen' and I am OBSESSED with them. They are kinda galaxy meets tye-dye with a glitter top coat.

The instructions included are easy to follow and they have photographs on how to apply the nails alongside simple instructions which I think is a fantastic idea. I find it much easier to follow pictures than the usual briefly written guide that assumes you know everything. There are enough nails to do two sets of nails but there isn't much variation in nail sizes so some may struggle with getting the correct nail sizes (I didn't have too much of a problem though).

These nails are self adhesive which I was a little apprehensive about however they were really easy to apply and the glue is very very strong. They feel as secure as my usual nails that I apply the glue to myself. It took me around 10 minutes to apply the nails which is great. My only little niggle is that it recommends, to secure the glue, you press down on the nails for half an hour. You'd only be able to do one hand at a time and, as you're doing both hands, I don't have time to sit and hold my nails for an hour. Maybe a job to do whilst watching TV.

Save yourself some time and money - do a press on manicure at home and have amazing nails for the week.

  1. I so wish these weren't stick on, I have a tendency to flick them off! But I still love the print!

  3. What a fun print! I've seen galaxy nails before, but I like the style of this one because it's more artsy than defined. Thanks for sharing! :)

  4. I use these from time to time-- they are great for when I have a formal event and totally forgot my nails are in a state of disrepair.
