BEAUTY // #LushSkincare Event at Lush Cosmetics

Most people know a lot about Lush Cosmetics' bath bombs and bubbles but not many are aware of the fabulous skin care range they do! We wanted to to show off our beautiful skin care range at the Lush store I work at so we threw an exclusive blogger's evening to showcase our skincare range!

The evening consisted of product making, facial massage, and a run through of the PERFECT skin care routine!

To begin the evening, we all made a pot of the Angels on Bare Skin roll cleanser. This is a great cleanser for a soothing and gentle wash as it's full of chamomile, ground almonds and lavender which are ideal for all skin types (especially the more sensitive skins).

Next up we moved over to the steaming station where I got to show everyone the small but mighty Dream Steam toner tab. These are like mini bath bombs for your face - drop em in a bowl of hot water, hold your head over the water and allow the steam to open your pores and essential oils work wonders to your skin. Dream steam has a mix of some luxurious essential oils like tea tree, lavender, and chamomile and it's just a perfect one to have good relax with.

Next we learnt some facial massage techniques. We used our beautiful Full of Grace serum bar which feels like heaven on your face - so amazing!

After this pamper session we all made some face masks. It was team Chocolate versus team Blueberry! We made Cupcake fresh face mask (chocolate and mint) and Catastrophe Cosmetics (blueberry) and everyone got to take one of each home.

We finished the evening with some facial moisturiser consultations. You can have one of these for yourself at any Lush store... just pop in your local Lush and ask one of the staff for some advice.

We had such a fun evening at this blogger's event and you can keep an eye out for our next one by following the lovely Lush Solihull team on Twitter and Facebook (especially if you want to see some crazy pictures of myself haha!)

  1. I LOVEEE Lush's skincare. And makeup, for what it's worth. I actually can't really use the bathbombs as they irritate my super sensitive skin.

I would have loved to have come to this!

    1. Shame about the bathbombs! Maybe try butterball? It's great for sensitive skins as it is really gentle and moisturising :) xxx
