I have accumulated quite the collection of fragranced candles for the festive season. I'm not 100% sure when I will get chance to burn them all but I'm gonna try my hardest! I've put together a list of my favourite scented candles for you this month - these are perfect for the colder nights!
Christmas Memories by Yankee Candle is possibly my favourite candle ever. It is a mixture of sweet and spicy which I love as I'm fond of the sweeter smells. It smells like a kitchen should at Christmas time! I originally bought this one as a small votive but had to go back and get the large jar - I was so addicted to the scent!
To be honest, most of my Christmas scents this year are Yankee Candle. The couple that aren't are the gorgeous Warm Gingerbread candle by Pintail Candles. this smells heavenly - if you like gingerbread yo will adore this candle! I love that it comes in a cute tin too.
Next is the Mulled Wine by The Wonderland Candle Company. I have to admit, this is actually my own candle shop but the Mulled Wine candle smells delicious. It's really quite spicy and warming - it smells just like mulled wine tastes. I love the wooden wick too as it crackles away when you burn it.
Back to my enormous Yankee collection. In votives, I have Berry Trifle and Candy Cane Lane. I think Berry Trifle is new this winter but it's very fruity and makes a nice change from the usually bakery scents I go for this time of year. I seem to remember Candy Cane Lane being almost impossible to get a hold of last year but this year I've seen it everywhere! I love anything minty smelling so this is right up my street. It's mint mixed with vanilla.
Next up is a couple of smaller jars I got. First is Christmas Cookie. Last year, I was obsessed with Snowflake Cookie which I still love but I'm a little bored of. This time I changed it slightly and went for Christmas Cookie which smells more biscuity than the sugary sweet Snowflake Cookie. Finally I got Salted Caramel. I've actually had this one a while now but it reminds me of all the excess toffee and fudge we seem to have around our house this time of year. It's not overly sweet but much more of a rich caramel fragrance, it's lovely.
Which of these candles have you picked up? Any on your wishlist?
