Clothes Show Live, 2015 // Blogmas 2015

This year I was lucky enough to get tickets to the Clothes Show Live again. I actually won a competition by Paper Dolls who gave me two free tickets so I took my friend Jodie along with me fo a day of shopping and fashion. Last year, I was really dissapointed with the Clothes Show because the shopping area wasn't too good so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect this year.

I'm glad to say that I was not disappointed! The show wasn't until 5.30pm, so we had plenty of time to check out all the shopping areas. I was super impressed with the beauty area this year. In my opinion, it is always great with so many bargains to be had but this year I saw many more high end and hard to get make up, such as Nyx Cosmetics and Nanshy make up brushes. It was refreshing to see a mix of bargains and luxury items for the beauty section. Plus there were loads of areas to get make overs done too which was nice!

A New addition to the shopping haul was a home decor area. Now, you know I adore home wares so I was in heaven at this point. I was glad to see Flamingo Candles there with an offer on their Melt Crowd boxes - you got eight wax tarts and a melt burner for a tenner! Such a bargain!

Jodie and I stayed to watch some of the smaller catwalk shows, like the Olympus Pen stage where we got a preview of the Spring/Summer trends for next year. Stripes and nightwear-style clothes are in next year, so keep an eye out for that!

Finally, we headed over to the Alcatel Fashion Stage for the main event. As always, it was spectacular. Jodie hadn't seen the show before so she was wowed by the wonderful dances and runway looks put on display. Saturday's line-up was Charli XCX which was amazing as I've been a huge fan of hers for ages! The clothes were amazing and I wanted every sparkly dress I saw there. Later in the show, a Storm Trooper came out and danced which made my day haha! In all honesty, this wasn't my favourite fashion show I have seen at the Clothes Show Live (I loved last year's runway show!) but it was amazing to watch and see what fashions will be coming in stores soon.

Did you go to the Clothes Show this year? What did you pick up?
