The Lush Creative Showcase 2016

*Warning - Picture heavy post!* I almost wet my pants when I managed to get tickets to the first Lush Creative Showcase. As a Lush addict, being a fan from a young age and having previously worked there, I was ridiculously excited to be heading down to the Creative Showcase. The day offered the chance to have a sneak preview of the Halloween and Christmas products launching later this year. I went down to the Showcase with local bloggers Katrina and Sarah, and I couldn't think of any better girls to spend the day with!

The Showcase was held at the Tobacco Docks which is one of the most aesthetically pleasing venues I've had the pleasure of being in. It felt like an industrial warehouse and there were loads of places to explore; Lush had made the most of this by splitting the Showcase into separate rooms. Having said that, the place was like a greenhouse which was a killer in the London heatwave that seemed to hit us on the day. I was going to vlog the day there but I ended up being a huge sweaty mess so decided against it haha!

Like I said, the event was split into various sections including a Christmas Market, a Lush Spa Experience, an area filled with Giant baths and giant bath bombs, an Oxford Street Exclusive shop, a perfume gallery, seriously the list was endless! I kind of wished I had picked tickets for the day before so I could have had longer to spend time mulling around each individual section. We did manage to spend a good amount of time in the Christmas Market where we were treated to all sorts of exciting product previews!

One of the things I love about Lush as a company is that everything is a spectacle. You will never fail to be amazed at the 'show' the company puts on, and that was no different at the Creative Showcase. From live singers to stilt walkers, the day felt like a circus and everything was just that little bit more magical. The Christmas Market was amazing. It literally felt like I had stepped into Santa's grotto with gift boxes and glittery bath bombs stacked high. I was happy to see the return of some products like Shoot for the Stars bath bomb and, of course, Snow Fairy but I felt like this year there were a lot more new products which is exciting for a Lush addict such as myself! I was also impressed with how many Halloween items are coming out this year. Lush usually put less emphasis on Halloween as it's overshadowed by the Christmas range so it was a nice surprise to see so much thought and effort gone into Halloween this year.

I did manage to pick up a couple of items that are due to launch for Halloween and Christmas, you can watch my live stream haul of that here: Lush Creative Showcase 2016 Haul. I'll be posting reviews of everything I bought so keep your eyes peeled!
