Lush Halloween 2016 Haul

Lush's Halloween 2016 dropped on the 23rd September  - a week earlier than usual! I'm guessing so there is time between Halloween and Christmas stuff, but either way, I was super excited to get my hands on a few products for the spooky season.

I was happy to see the return of some items from last year. The extremely popular Lord of Misrule bath bomb is back, along with its shower cream counterpart of the same name. I absolutely adore the smell of Lord of Misrule. It's a mix of spice with vanilla and honestly, it is just divine. Last year the Lush Kitchen released a very limited edition perfume version and I snapped it up right away, I'm that obsessed with the smell. I haven't bought one of the bath bombs yet as I have a couple left in my stash from last year, and they usually keep this bath bomb until Christmas, but I got the mini shower cream to get my fix until pay day.

A new product for this year that was love at first sight for me is Monster's Ball. How. Cute. Is. This. Bath. Bomb. First of all, he smells amazing. It has a citrus tone but smells quite sweet to me, which is good as I prefer the sweeter fragrances. Secondly, he is cute monster colours. I imagine he will turn the bath all kinds of crazy colours as he is pink and blue. I love him lots, but can't wait to chuck him in a nice warm bath!

Another new Halloween bath bomb this year is Pumpkin. This one looks exactly like the creepy faces you carve into pumpkins but he is kinda cute I guess. The selling point for this one is the fragrance. It actually smells like home baking at Christmas time. I swear Lush just bottle up scents we love and pop them into bath bombs. I kinda don't want to use this one as it smells so good!

Next up is a bubble bar that has returned once again, and that's Sparkly Pumpkin. I was obsessed with Sparkly Pumpkin last year - seriously, I think I bought about ten of them so I'm glad to see they are back! Again, it's sold to me because of the addictive smell. All Lush Halloween products tend to have a dash of lime in and this one is really quite fruity. I find I get two, maybe even three, baths out of this. You just crumble a chunk under the tap and you get your super fruity bubble bath! Plus, gold sparkly glitter. Everyone wins.

The final product I picked up is another bath bomb called Autumn Leaf. I picked this up because it is so different in fragrance to all to all the others. It smells quite earthy, very similar to the Grass shower gel Lush used to make. I don't usually go for these types of fresher fragrances, but something about this one stood out to me. I especially like the Autumnal colours used in the bath bomb itself.

I'd really like to pick up the little ghost-shaped bath melt next time I'm in Lush, what Halloween products are you eyeing up this year? Let me know in the comments below!
