Every year, I get excited for the Christmas collection that hits LUSH Cosmetics every October. Each of the collections have different stories and amazing inspiration behind them; I remember one of the gift ranges one year was inspired by Fred & George Weasley - it was all rockets, fireworks and exploding boxes! Lush have really spoiled us this Christmas with their festive offerings. I am a self-confessed Lush addict and I ended up buying a lot of the Christmas collection this year (For research purposes, of course...).
I thought I'd put together a collection of my top five favourite Lush Christmas 2016 products, a little review for each and reasons why you should try them out!
Snow Fairy Body Conditioner // £7.95/£13.96 // Buy HereLike many, I have succumbed to the glorious, sugary-sweet fragrance that is Snow Fairy. Up until a couple of years ago, it was only available as a Limited Edition Shower Gel for the festive period, but now the Snow Fairy fragrance can be seen in shower gel, FUN, dusting powder, bath bomb, and body conditioner. I adore this body conditioner. It smells edible and I love how soft my skin feels after using this.
Sugar Plum Fairy Lip Tint // £5.95 // Buy HereA new product for this year is the Sugar Plum Fairy Lip Tint. Lush have a few existing lip tints which have always been popular, and the last couple of years they have sold 'Santa Baby' as their limited edition tint for Christmas. I do love the colour of Santa Baby (a bright red), I have so many similar colours and I found it a little bit drying.
I picked up Sugar Plum Fairy because it looked quite an unusual purple, but I was actually relieved it translates to a pink tint on the lips. It is so easy to wear and feels much more moisturising than Santa Baby. I am gutted this is limited edition - I'm going to have to stock up on this!
Shoot for the Stars bath bomb // £4.25 // Buy HereI am over the moon that Shoot For The Stars bath bomb is back this year! The scent is beautiful; it's like a sweet toffee fragrance that is ideal for any sweet tooth. It's actually the same fragrance as the Honey I Washed The Kids soap, so if you're a fan of that you'll love this.
Shoot For The Stars has had a make over this year which I quite like, and I love that it has cocoa butter stars in for extra softness.
The Magic of Christmas Reusable Bubble Bar // £5.95 // Buy HereThis came out last year (I think) when I worked at Lush, and myself and a few of the staff members went CRAZY over it (I'm looking at you in particular Nat! haha!). This actually smells exactly how Christmas should smell - cinnamon, clove and oranges making up a dreamy festive bubble bath. Plus, it's reuasble so you get quite a few baths out of it!
Candy Cane Roulade // £5.95 per 100g // Buy HereA few years back, Lush sold a Candy Cane soap that I loved. Much to my disappointment, it never returned! This year I spotted this Candy Cane roulade and was delighted that it shared the same scent, but was much softer and silkier to wash with. Honestly, you need to try this roulade. It is a joy to use and my skin feels so moisturised and soft after using it. It's got a subtle minty scent to it which smells exactly like candy canes, and the product lasts ages so a 100g block will last you a while!
These are my favourites for this year, what will you be picking up form Lush this year? Any favourites so far? Any from previous years you are missing? Let me know in the comments below!
